The key driver to success is the careful blend of assessment tools designed to test core competencies but also gauge personality traits and communication styles.
Furthermore, any assessment program should respect the individual and be cognisent of a candidate’s career history and level of seniority so that the experience remains positive and is a reflection of the employer brand.
Even those candidates who are ultimately unsuccessful for whatever reason should be encouraged to retain a positive impression of both Smart Public and our clients in order to build positive external perceptions. We believe that this can only be achieved by looking beyond the recruitment process to a fit for purpose model that keeps the person at the centre of our thinking.
